Square steel pipes are used in a various industries. Today, the production of these pipes increased enormously. In a traditional space structure building, circular hollow section members were used. Then, the ends of the curve surface were joined by welding. This traditional process takes long time and seems to be difficult. To solve the problem the engineers started using square steel tubing. These square steel pipes are being used in a special configuration. The square steel pipes are respectively aligned in perpendicular and parallel to the plane of the frame bodies then, the cross points of the bar members are joined along a short sealed line by butt welding.




These steel tubes are used in structural projects, shelves, racks, trailers and in ornamental purpose. The framework made by square steel tubes, is used for providing support to the roof. This framework is also used as roof top ventilation baffles.
