This particular variety of sheet is a mill edge coil
which undergoes only the pickling procedure and is sold on it's actual
weight. This sheet is supplied in the form of a mill edge coil without
being temper rolled.
The options available with the purchaser is that he can place an order
for a product that is dry and/or with side trimmed edges. Such sheets
are ideal for applications wherein uniform surface, good ductility,
flatness and clean surface is not needed. Continuous pickle line and
tempering mill as shown in the illustration are done to meet certain
specific requirements of the customer. Such sheets are manufactured to a
specific thickness but can be customized according to the customer's
need.
